Happy Birthday Daisy!

And WHY do they have to grow up?!! I am still dealing, without being too dramatic, with the shock that my baby that I JUST had is now 2 years old!! Someone PLEASE tell me where the time has gone!!! I believe Daisy had a great birthday....she got some very nice things, and we had a nice party for her last night. Papa and Granny from Tennessee got her the trike, and we gave that to her on Sunday. If the pictures don't say it all.....she loved it! I could have posted 20 pictures of her enjoying this gift, she could hardly contain herself! The rest of the pictures are from our gathering on Monday night, in which she had a ball being the center of attention. She was excited about her gifts and oddly enjoyed pretending like she was reading all the cards. Thank you family for sharing this time with us. One last thing, Daisy has her 2 year check up tomorrow. She still is not talking, her vocabulary consists of maybe five words, I know this will be an issue again tomorrow as it was already at 18 months. We chose to not do testing in the last six months, we felt strongly that she was still young and we would see where she would be at 2. We sadly haven't made any progress. Without too much worry we know it will be necessary to look further into what might be causing her delay. Daisy's behavior is also a challenge for us, quite possibly this could be linked to her inability to communicate. Please keep us in your prayers as we seek to do what's best for Daisy!!

Happy Birthday Daisy!! Looks like she had a great time and that is what Birthdays are all about. She is a beautiful girl and whatever they (the drs.) say trust that God is in control and he knows that you trust his plan!!

I so hear you on the time flying with our babies! I will pray for the Dr's appointment. I have a couple friends with children older than Daisy that dont talk much yet. For one of them they found out he had lots of fluid build up in his ears...he wasnt hearing well therefore couldnt talk. Once that was fixed he started talking right away. Hopefully its something as simple as that.

Great job Tanya. Great Pictures too. You are a big chicken though for deleting the best picture taken. Thanks for the party and the fun! You, Brian and Daisy will be in our prayers as Daisy is evaluated.

Tannnnnnnnni, wait until they walk down the aisle or ask you what to about morning sickness... Problem is I remember you when you were Daisy's age. You were sooooooooooo cute and you'd sit in my lap and smile at me and jabber with stuff druellin down your mouth. Those were the good ole days. Where did they all go?

Time...the only gift worth giving. U. Ron (I still think you sooooooo cute!)

Hi babe, you do such a great job on your blog, I'm always so excited to spend time looking at the pictures and reading what your thoughts are, even if I was blessed to be at the party and get to share almost daily in your lives. I have been and will continue to pray for Daisy and for God's grace for Brian, you and Daisy. Love you all so much. Mom
